A new test that can detect kidney damage at a much earlier stage than was previously possible is now available! This makes us able to intervene with diet and medication to prolong your dog’s life by slowing the development of kidney disease! A test for cats is being developed, and hopefully will be in use in another year. This test requires only a small amount of urine, yields results in 5 minutes, and is not expensive!
